The Polar Plunge — PRO

A range engineered for the professional pace.

For hotels, wellness centers and sports clubs where the cold plunge isn't an occasional use but a daily service. Polar Plunge PRO is a dedicated range — designed for sustained rotation, simple maintenance and longevity.

Why a dedicated PRO range

For pros, the priority isn't ultimate performance — it's day-to-day reliability.

A cold plunge in a professional environment — hotel spa, recovery center, premium club — has no room for failure. A bath out of service for 48h over a weekend means a customer complaint, reputational loss and an immediate downtime cost. The demand from hospitality operators is the same everywhere: equipment that just runs, simply, with no maintenance headaches.

This reliability requirement isn't met by overloading the bath with technology, nor by multiplying components to compensate for their fragility. It's met with three precise choices: (1) robust materials in the right place — 316L double-wall stainless; (2) a high-reliability professional thermodynamic unit, massive cooling power, designed to run continuously without breaking; and (3) a sanitation simple to maintain by any local pool tech, compliant with the ARS standard thanks to automatic water renewal and chlorine regulation. That's what our Polar Plunge PRO range delivers.

On usage volume, most of our hospitality installations run around 10 to 30 uses per day — a sustained regime, but one that doesn't justify systematic over-engineering. For extreme use cases (athletic recovery center > 50 rotations/day, multi-tank), we raise the level of thermal power and sanitation — that's the exception, not the rule.

The 5 pillars of PRO reliability

Five technical choices that change everything in pro use.

316L double-wall stainless

Reference pro material — no wood in contact with water.

All PRO range tanks are made of food-grade 316L stainless steel, with inner + outer double-wall construction and intermediate thermal insulation. 316L is the only material that durably withstands the combined aggression of chlorine, salt and the extreme temperature cycles specific to intensive pro use. No wood cladding in contact with water, no exposed organic seals, no risk of hidden degradation.

High-reliability thermodynamic unit

A unique professional heat pump, massive cooling power, chosen for its endurance in continuous operation — not to compensate for a fragile part with a duplicate.

Sanitation calibrated to use

Pro cartridge filter for hospitality · reinforced sanitation for intensive.

Maintenance by a local pool technician

Accessible components, no proprietary part — any qualified pool technician can service it.

Remote control (WiFi)

The heat pump — and chlorine regulation in intensive mode — are supervised from your phone. Alerts before drift, remote settings, even multi-site.

Automatic water renewal

Fresh water added at every use

Connected to the pressurized water mains, the automatic renewal system injects fresh water continuously: with each bather, part of the volume is renewed. The organic load is diluted in real time, the sanitation is relieved, and the water stays clear and safe even at high rotation — with no daily manual draining.

Pro standard vs Pro intensive

Pro isn't a homogeneous block. We don't offer the same solution to a boutique hotel and to an athletic recovery center.

Not all pro installations are equivalent. Confusing the two usage regimes is exactly the source of projects that don't last. Either you under-size and the bath breaks down, or you over-equip and the project becomes too expensive and too complex to maintain. Our approach: two standard configurations, each calibrated to its real regime.

Pro standard

Hospitality · Boutique wellness · Intensive residence

10-30baths/day

Typical usage regime

10 to 30 baths per day, 1 to 3 simultaneous users, continuous 7-day operation during high seasons.

Establishments concerned

Boutique hotels with integrated spa, urban wellness centers, exceptional private residences with sustained use, premium gyms with limited recovery space.

The real need

Aesthetic plug-and-play equipment, guaranteed cold even in summer, impeccable hygiene with low maintenance, clear manufacturer warranty.

Recommended range

Catalog range (Barrel, Handmade, Ultimate XL)

  • Barrel · Handmade · Ultimate XL — catalog range, French manufacturing
  • Integrated professional thermodynamic unit, substantial cooling power, sized for hotel use — stable cold under sustained turnover (documented +40°C tropicalised condenser, titanium plate exchanger as standard — resistant to chlorine, salt, ozone, bromine, lithium and iodine)
  • Precise temperature control + remote supervision (WiFi module)
  • Equipment pack: professional IP68 multicolor LED projector, dual debris pickup (adjustable surface skimmer + bottom suction), automatic water renewal connected to the mains
  • ARS-standard compliant configuration: automatic water renewal + chlorine regulation, ozone and large-surface pro cartridge filter
  • Standard 3/4" plumbing interoperable with any local pool tech
  • Option: on-site assembly and setup by our teams (useful without lifting equipment access)

Why this configuration lasts

The technical core is based on a professional thermodynamic unit chosen for its endurance in continuous operation — not on a stack of components meant to compensate for a fragile part. Fewer stressed parts means fewer failure points. Sanitation is deliberately simple, maintainable by any local pool tech without proprietary training or exotic parts. On request, a second bath equipped with a similar unit can be installed for hot/cold contrast therapy.

Pro intensive

Recovery center · Premium sports club · High-capacity hospitality

50-150baths/day

Typical usage regime

50 to 150 baths per day, 3 to 8 simultaneous users, continuous year-round operation, constant turnover.

Establishments concerned

Athletic recovery centers, premium sports clubs with a health hub, thalassotherapy centers and large hotels with heavy traffic in the cold zone.

The real need

Temperature control under heavy organic load, substantial cooling power, robust autonomous water treatment, WiFi supervision and strict ARS compliance.

Recommended range — à la carte

Dedicated PRO 316L stainless range

  • Tank only: PRO 316L double-wall stainless range with mid insulation (PRO Rect 230×150, or several PRO tanks in parallel for large volumes)
  • High-power professional thermodynamic unit, massive cooling power per tank — stable cold despite successive bathers. Condenser tropicalized to +40 °C documented, precise control + WiFi.
  • Professional circulation pump with reinforced bearing
  • Dual debris pickup: adjustable surface skimmer + bottom suction
  • Sanitation compliant with ARS standard to compose per project — automatic water renewal (mains connection)
  • Integrated ozone treatment
  • Chlorine + pH regulation by a professional injector with dual peristaltic pump and touchscreen (continuous measurement and injection, controlled by redox + pH probes), remotely controlled
  • Low-pressure pro UV lamp 254 nm spectrum, 316L stainless vessel, germicidal dose ≥ 30 mJ/cm²
  • High-capacity professional sand filter
  • Titanium plate heat exchanger as standard (resistant to chlorine, salt, ozone, bromine, lithium and iodine; announced lifespan > 10 years under intensive use)
  • Standard Ø 50 mm plumbing interoperable with any local commercial-pool tech
  • Option: on-site assembly and setup by our teams (useful without lifting equipment access)

Why this configuration sustains the intensive pace

The thermodynamic unit is sized to absorb the thermal load of successive bodies while maintaining the target temperature. Sanitation operates on two complementary regimes (the micro-doser handles spot injection, the UV stabilizes the bath continuously) — the commercial-pool standard adapted to the cold plunge. Everything remains maintainable by a local pool tech: no proprietary parts, no exotic protocols. À-la-carte composition avoids the over-equipping of custom solutions.

Our expertise: tank + high-power thermoregulation + hydraulics

Manufacturer, not reseller. Three areas of expertise that make the difference.

Polar Plunge isn't an assembler reselling relabeled components. We design and calibrate ourselves the three building blocks that determine the reliability and total cost of ownership of a pro cold plunge: the 316L stainless tank, high-power thermoregulation and pro hydraulics. For our dedicated intensive PRO stainless range, these blocks are composed à la carte with the sanitation — you compose exactly the configuration suited to your use case, with no imposed pack. For the hotel catalog range (Barrel, Handmade, Ultimate XL), everything is integrated into a fully-equipped, ready-to-use pack.

Fully-equipped 316L pro tank

Auto renewal included, coherent package as standard.

On the dedicated intensive PRO stainless range, French design and 316L double-wall stainless construction with mid insulation provide the expected resistance to intensive chlorine, salt and temperature cycles. These tanks include as standard: - The complete equipment pack (multicolor LED with remote, dual debris pickup: adjustable surface skimmer + bottom suction, automatic water-renewal system connected to the pressurized water mains) - 316L double-wall stainless inner + outer construction with mid thermal insulation - Standard Ø 50 mm plumbing connections (interoperable with any pool technician) This 'fully equipped as standard' approach provides a coherent, repeatable technical foundation without rebuilding the project architecture for each installation.

Pro hydraulics

Pro centrifugal, standard plumbing, optional premium upgrade.

The hydraulic architecture of a pro cold plunge determines 80% of long-term reliability. Our approach: robust components, standard interoperable plumbing, and the possibility of a premium upgrade for operations with maximum requirements. PRO CENTRIFUGAL PUMP — Our default choice: a professional centrifugal pump with reinforced bearing, designed for the continuous load of a pro cold plunge (long cycles, low temperature, humid environment). Sealed bearing with long-life lubrication, double mechanical seal, cast-iron body with anti-corrosion coating. A pro commercial-pool standard proven across tens of thousands of European installations. STANDARD PLUMBING — Ø 50 mm on the dedicated PRO stainless range (commercial-pool standard), 3/4" on the catalog range. Any local pool technician works with their standard tools, no proprietary training or exotic part. OPTIONAL PREMIUM UPGRADE — For operations with maximum requirements, we offer an optional upgrade to the magnetically-driven pump: motor/circuit coupling by magnetic field, no mechanical seal between the shaft and the water — so no leak point on the rotor shaft. Wet parts in polypropylene or PVDF compatible with chlorine + ozone, nominal service life 30,000 hours of continuous operation.

Tropicalized thermodynamic unit

High continuous reliability, remotely controllable.

The thermodynamic unit is the most heavily worked part of a pro cold plunge — it runs continuously, in sustained cycles, and must deliver its power despite the technical-room temperature. It's also the number-one component of total cost of ownership. Our choice: a professional spa thermodynamic unit, with performance documented by the manufacturer up to +40°C ambient, selected for its endurance in continuous operation. TROPICALISED CONDENSER, DOCUMENTED TO +40°C. The unit retains a nominal capacity documented by the manufacturer's official curves up to +40°C ambient (heatwave peak + solar gain + room heat). That's the difference between a standard refrigeration unit and a tropicalised unit suited to the real conditions of a hotel technical room in high summer. TITANIUM EXCHANGER AS STANDARD. The unit includes a titanium plate exchanger as standard, resistant to chlorine, salt, ozone, bromine, lithium and iodine. Its announced lifespan exceeds 10 years under intensive use. PRECISE CONTROL + REMOTE SUPERVISION. Fine regulation of target temperature, control screen, and WiFi module for remote supervision and adjustment — useful for a multi-site operator. A SINGLE MODEL = SIMPLE MAINTENANCE. A single unit reference: one stock of parts, one intervention protocol, one model for the local technician to know. No zoo of components. Option on request: a second bath equipped with a similar unit can be installed for hot/cold contrast therapy.

Remote control & supervision

Your baths under control, from your phone.

Pro equipment that runs 24/7 shouldn't require permanent technical presence. Our entire range is remotely controllable and supervisable via WiFi.

THE HEAT PUMP, REMOTELY CONTROLLED. Target temperature, on/off, operating alerts: the operator keeps control of each bath from their phone. Ideal for a hotel group or multi-site operator supervising several installations without traveling.

INTENSIVE SANITATION, CONTINUOUSLY SUPERVISED. On intensive pro configurations, the micro-dosed chlorine regulation (dual peristaltic pump, redox + pH probes) reports its measurements in real time: active chlorine, pH, dosing. The operator sees the water's sanitary state continuously and is alerted before any drift — not after a complaint. It's the guarantee of perfectly safe water at high attendance, without permanent manual supervision.

A SINGLE DASHBOARD. Cold, temperature, sanitation: the critical parameters of your baths, centralized and accessible remotely. The peace of mind of an operator who knows, at any moment, that their installations are running as planned.

Our positioning in the market

The right equipment at the right technical level, no more, no less.

In the market for cold plunges in professional environments, you'll mainly encounter two types of alternatives. Our positioning is to offer the right middle ground between these two extremes.

Low-cost imported products

Solutions often from standardized Asian imports, originally designed for light residential use and commercially repackaged for pro. Unspecified materials or low-grade stainless, technical components undersized for sustained rotation, uncertain lifespan in intensive use, remote technical support with no project dimension. The operational risk: repeated failures, early replacement and bath downtime mid-service.

Solutions built by traditional pool integrators

At the other extreme, custom solutions offered by pool integrators transpose commercial-pool standards to the cold plunge: oversized filtration, heavy automation and case-by-case custom metalwork. This approach can create over-equipment, technical dependence on the integrator over the project's lifetime, and high lead times and implementation complexity.

Polar Plunge PRO — equipment matched to use, without over-equipment

Our range is designed exactly for the middle segment that neither alternative serves well: reliable pro hardware (316L double-wall stainless, properly sized high-power thermodynamic unit, interoperable hydraulics), a structured project support method, and explicit delegation of routine maintenance to a local pool-tech partner — who is the right specialist for that part of the job. The technical response is calibrated to actual use: robust enough for the professional pace, without adding over-equipment that brings no relevant value to the project.
